What are the risks?

There are always risks associated with medical care. Surgery is something that should be considered very seriously, and discussed with your family, friends, and healthcare professionals, regardless of the location. There are additional risks associated with air travel in the days following your surgery. This is why we insist that your medical team clears you for return travel after your surgery. In the event you need a longer recuperation time, we will arrange for a longer stay in Taiwan.
